Each arc in the circle represents a question, and the chords between the questions represent the strength of the correlation. The darker and wider the chord, the greater the degree to which the two questions are dependent.

If a chord exists, it means that the relationship is statistically significant. Our criteria for significance is a p-value of less than 0.05 with Pearson's chi-squared test for independence.
